Shino, The Mongrel

SHINO is a female Mongrel that I adopted from Noah's Ark around February '2000. She was about 2 months plus then, i.e. she was born sometime around the millenium.

Nike, The Shetland Sheepdog

This is NIKE, a Shetland Sheepdog (a.k.a. Sheltie). This picture was taken soon after he was brought home from the pet shop at around 2 1/2 months of age. Being classified as a herding dog, Shetland Sheepdogs are intelligent, affectionate and responsive. They're very obedient and photogenic too!

This is NIKE, when he's around 6 months of age. Looks like he's got some questions for ya isn't it? By this time, NIKE has already learnt many basic commands like 'Sit', 'Down', 'Stay', 'Come', and 'Shake hand'! Not bad for a puppy isn't it?

This is another picture of NIKE when he's close to a year old. By then, he'd learnt an additional command, i.e. 'Up'! NIKE's generally a very obedient dog and my family and friends all love him very much. :)

2 pictures of NIKE taken on the 7th of October 2002, the 2nd one with him just lying down on the floor with his rawhide within his grasp. He just had his 1st birthday then.

My NIKE at about 1 1/2 years old already (picture taken on 26 April 2003). Handsome dog, but his fluffy fur really gave me problems because he sheds almost all the time, especially lots of loose fur 1 to 2 days after a bath! If I were in the fur business I would have been rich! :P

Rover, The Golden Retriever

Some photos of ROVER a few days after he arrived at my home.. Cute like a teddy bear isn't he?

ROVER: What are you looking at?

ROVER: This rawhide is no challenge.. I'm bored...

ROVER: Can you snap a shot quickly? I'm yawning after all this posing!

ROVER: Don't you try to snatch that rawhide away from me!

ROVER: Nah, I prefer the rawhide to the rugby ball squeaky toy..

ROVER: Where's the rawhide? *Burp*

ROVER: What are you doing with that thing on your hand? Is it delicious?

ROVER: I'm trying hard to sit still... Can you hurry up?

ROVER: Or do you prefer this angle with my tongue stuck out?

ROVER: Hey, not too close! It's so glaring for my eyes!

ROVER: It's Chinese New Year Day! Are you taking me out?

WHISKY: Daddy, I'm hungry.. Please take pity on me! I promise to pee pee and poo poo properly on the newspapers ok? *sniff sniff*

WHISKY: *Slurp!* That's simply delicious!

WHISKY: Oops, I'm still a little hungry.. Just look at my innocent face.. More food can?

WHISKY: Sorry.. the food fell off the bowl.. don't scold me!

WHISKY: Why is he trying to do with that thing in his hands?

At about 6 months of age...

WHISKY: This pose is definitely going to melt your heart.. Am I cute?

WHISKY: OK, this is an obvious signal that I've had enough..

WHISKY: Alright, make this the last one.. do I look more cool and suave when I look away from the camera?

At about 1 year of age...

WHISKY: My fur has gotten much thicker and longer over the months... Say, it's kinda hot in Singapore ya?

WHISKY: OK, make it quick cos the hot sun is shining on my face!

WHISKY: Ahh... a close-up portrait picture of myself..

WHISKY: Demure aren't I? Please don't be mistaken.. I'm a dog, not a bitch!

WHISKY: *Pant* It's a hot day isn't it? Can I have my chicken wing after this?
